Game starting

You have arrived on Phobos, where the interplanetary spaceport is located. Please go through registration.

Registration in the project implies authorization first in the Telegram bot, and then on the website through a non-custodial crypto wallet running on The Open Network (TON) blockchain.

After authorization on the site, do not forget to go to your profile settings. Here you can configure the display of personal data, and to reduce the risk of losing digital property, link your Telegram account.

To start the game, you need to purchase a plot on the map of Mars for the Toncoin cryptocurrency. You can do this in several ways:

  • Participate in land presales

    • Main article: History of presales

  • Purchase a property by selecting a plot on the map from among the plots for sale on the domestic market.

  • Win or receive as a reward by participating in the Flora Redemption Bank draws (via Marsobot) or in official events on the project channel.

Important: Purchased marsoids and buildings without a plot will not be useful in the game. You can buy any NFTs and game items (non-NFTs) and resell them, but it is much more profitable and interesting to participate in the life of Mars, earning money by selling items created by your own efforts.

Plots

In total, there are 6547 sites on the surface of Mars, in 12 different biomes that are directly involved in the gameplay, producing resources. At the moment, only half of the plots are owned by the players. The rest are going through the terraforming process and will participate in the Second Wave of Presales in the future.

Seas and lakes are also considered biomes, but their passive impact on gameplay is even more pronounced when it comes to lot value, as access to water is expected to open up additional opportunities to earn in-game currency.

Resource mining

Marsoids are used to work on the plots in the Mars ecosystem. A marsoid is a bio-reactor-powered cybernetic organism that requires bio-fuel produced from resources available on Mars.

An area without a Marsoid installed on it brings only 20% of the potential production. After being assigned to a marsoid site, the extraction of the resource increases to 100%. At the same time, on some biomes, after installing the Marsoid, a choice of resources appears both for production and for spending.

If the plot is put up for sale, the extraction of the resource is reduced to 20%, regardless of the presence of Marsoids on this plot.

A Marsoid placed on a plot consumes the resources necessary for its viability. The Marsoid adapts differently to each biome, this aspect is described in sufficient detail in the article Adaptive Marsoid Map. Thanks to such well-thought-out game mechanics, the complexity of balancing between the extraction and consumption of various resources takes on depth and gives the game complexity.

In the event that the Marsoid lacks any resource to consume, the production from the site is reduced to the base 20%.

In this case, this resource in the Game Panel will be highlighted in red. However, one cutoff before the red warning, the Marsbot will be notified and an orange indicator will light up, indicating that the amount on hand does not cover the next write-off, without taking into account the profitability of the resource. We recommend avoiding such situations, even if the yield of the biome does not allow the balances to be written off. Keep a supply x2-x3 of the write-off rate so as not to receive notifications about a critical level all the time.

Conditions for 100% farm resource from the site:

  • The property is not for sale.

  • A Marsoid is installed on the site.

  • Marsoid has enough resources for consumption.

The buildings

The game uses plot modifications, each of which has its own purpose, cost and construction time. There are two types of modifications: housing and buildings. Housing is needed to increase the number of Marsoids working on the biome, and buildings provide additional benefits or opportunities.

If there is no housing on the site, then only one Marsoid can be assigned to it, and in general, up to one hundred workers can work or study on any site, even if more housing is provided.

Each additional Marsoid multiplies the rate of extraction of resources, and a residential building - the number of Marsoids placed on the site. Moving from one area to another, both marsoids and buildings, is carried out in the game panel in two clicks.

Exchange Mstack

Resources mined on the plots can be sold or bought on the internal exchange MStack for the internal currency MCoin. The transaction can be carried out on the market or using a pending order (application) for the purchase or sale of a resource. Thus, the Mstack internal exchange is a spot resource market that works on the principle of most p2p sites.
